Thank You Page Maker
HOW TO CREATE A THANK YOU PAGE
Please enter the following information. The first 3 items will be remembered so you don't need to enter them the next time you use Thank You Page Maker.
1. Your email address (for example john@mysite.com). This will be added to the page in case your customers have problems.
2. Your web site address (for example www.mysite.com). This is the address where your customers will be sent to when they have finished using the thank you page. You can put any web address here as appropriate.
3. The name of the payment service you use (for example Clickbank or PayPal). This is the name that will appear on your customers credit card bills.
4. The title of the ebook or software product.
You also need to enter the names of up to 3 files which are to be downloaded by your customer. This can include for example the ebook or software product, its mini site zip and a bonus product. If there are less than 3 files to be downloaded, leave unused boxes blank.
For each file, type the file name into the box (for example ebook1.exe). Alternatively you can use the Browse buttons to select the files using a standard Windows dialog. The Browse buttons do nothing more than provide a quick way to enter the names into the boxes.
When you have finished, click the Create Page button and select where on your computer to save your new thank you page. Your new page will be created and saved.
If any of the files to be downloaded end in ".pdf" or ".zip" , appropriate instructions will be included on the thank you page automatically.
After saving your thank you page, you can create another thank you page if required, or exit the software.
To install your new thank you page on your web site , you should create a new folder on your web site. Choose a name for this folder which is difficult to guess, to protect against people finding the files without paying. For example call it something like "folder3874498".
After creating the folder, transfer the thank you page and all the files to be downloaded into this folder, using your FTP software.
Please remember to test your thank you page (and the rest of your sales site) before allowing customers to use it.
